Gregory set it off over the club season every time I saw her on the PGH Circuit so watching her play multiple positions was no surprise. She understands positioning and outrebounds taller players yet she can handle the ball after or ignite the break with an outlet. Midrange jumper as well as off the dribble are still strong assets, so is her defense and court vision

Gregory has given me a few glimpses of what she was able to do and the potential she has yet she “set it off” at the PGH #DuelForTheDynasty making the 17U All-Tournament team. I had to go back a couple of years prior to the PGH Freshman Showcase which was the last time I had seen her and I was just speechless at her transformation both on and off the court. She’s more powerful off the dribble yet under control and her strong finishes after contact, putbacks included, were very nice and so was her pull-up jumper as she set the defender up nicely. Her defense in the set as well as in transition all tells me she’s on the verge of something big happening

There is no way her Athletic Elite team goes 5-0 and wins the tournament championship without Ari! She is very efficient for her size as she plays inside and out. Understanding how to use her size against opponents, she will back her man down in the paint and shoot the turnaround jumper. The championship game was tight the entire time, and Gregory’s team won in the final seconds. With her team down most of the first half, Gregory took her game to another level in the second half as I watched her knock down the corner three ball and then sprint down court to intercept a pass and lead the break coming back down. On a very team oriented squad that played unselfish basketball, Gregory stood out for as a key contributor with a high basketball IQ.

Gregory grabbed my attention years ago while in middle school yet thinking back to what I said about her having that “you won’t outwork me” mindset at the PGH Freshman Showcase in 2022, that was true as well as everything else I’ve said, but I’m not a novice at this. watching her dominate around the basket against taller players left me speechless, she’s added muscle and to be honest I had to check the roster to see who she was but as good she is, her upside is still solid as she understands the basics and gets the job done
