Warford has a cannon for an arm and was tossing her trademark outlet passes with ease. Along with sparking transition points, she was a rock solid, traditional PG. Often drove with the purpose to create for others. Good bounce passes to her teammates near the rim. Or finding shooters along the perimeter. Must be respected from the perimeter as a shooter, which helps open up her creating abilities. Her long arms also allow her to get in the passing lanes and even record an occasional block or two. The Mustangs finished a game short of State last year. They’re currently waiting for fellow senior Seaba to recover from an injury, Warford is keeping them running.

The first note on Warford from her match up against Locust Grove was a predictable but valuable one “customary great transition feed”. The coach’s daughter always has her head up and looks for advantages to create good looks for her teammates. Creation will always be at the top of her scouting report, but she had moments of scoring as well. Had a good “short memory” moment as a shooter. She missed a three, then seconds later a teammate found her off the offensive rebound. The second chance was a clean make from well behind the three point line. Type of point guard where the little things she does, add up to a big impact.

Game Watched: JYD 2026 vs Swarm National
Warford entered takeover mode in the second half, blending her traditional point guard skills with scoring punch. There were her usual transition pushes and outlet passing that led to teammate’s scores. While also getting busy draining a deep pull up three, showing speed to get downhill, draw a foul and finish. There was a 3-4 minute stretch where the small town guard was responsible for at least 10 points. Looks set up for an even stronger junior campaign for the Ketchum Lady Warriors.

Game Watched: 2026 JYD Orange vs Shooters United National Blue
An unselfish point guard, Warford often looked to get the ball and go when she can. Which would lead to times that even off defensive boards that she could set up her teammates with good looks from three before the opposition was set. Her scoring was muted in the contest, but she did have a good drive and finish late in the first half. Hinting that she could provide a scoring punch to go along with table setting ways.
