Leonard has been a crucial aspect of Laconia’s run these last three seasons. Her ability to bend defenses by getting by her initial defender opens the floor for her teammates to operate in space. She’s an excellent distributor. In the games Laconia has lost this season against Homestead, she left with an injury and fouled out of the KML game. It’s jaw-dropping how different their offense runs. Leonard makes things easier on the people around her, and she’s a solid perimeter defender. The Spartan will head south and continue her career at the NCAA D2 level at Roosevelt University in the GLIAC.
