About Aubrey

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am versatile in all positions but have always been a PG due to my ability to handle pressure, shifty ball handling and creating opportunities for my teammates. I have both offensively and defensively court awareness and want to be challenged to push myself above and beyond my skill/knowledge.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mindset is always next play. Whether I am having a bag game or my shots just aren't falling I find ways to execute to the basket and find my teammates for shots. I am always cheering for my teammates when they are doing well and encouraging them when things may not go their way.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was apart of the Esports program ran at Eastland.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have always been a PG therefore leadership is very important to run offenses and teach my teammates direction and follow up with feedback. Our AAU team is excellent with our coach and we all respond with selflessness in teamwork during games and practices.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I had gotten injured in our 8th grade conference tournament, someone had stepped on my ankle. I continued to keep playing even though I was in terrible pain, I knew my coach and teammates needed me. I continued the next 4 possessions until I just could not walk anymore where I was taken off the court to ice my ankle. It was tough to finish our season injured on the bench.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am open to all however my end goal would love to be Division I basketball.
