One of the unofficial grand marshals for the weekend’s festivities, the older of the two Taylor sisters (the other being Janaria, a 2025) managed to pace the Trojans through what was a tough contest with 4A Greenwood. She managed to try her hand at the 3-point shot and also helped her team’s rebounding efforts. Taylor was not afraid to play the game on contact and take her opportunities at the free throw line. She managed to get crafty with her ball handling and footwork and was aggressive from start to finish. Taylor tallied 11 points in the matchup against the Eagles on Friday evening.

Prior to arriving on the scene at Carolina Academy, she wore the colors of the Powdersville Patriots – another 3A team. Taylor is skilled as a ball distributor and her passing proficiency can throw many a defense for a loop. While running point, she maintains a strong confidence in her ability to sink her 3-point shot attempts. Sea of defenders waiting to stop Taylor in her tracks? No problem – she will find the right lanes to get through those defenses and is willing to play the game on contact that can give her opportunities at the free throw line. Taylor is poised for a huge senior season with the Bobcats.

Taylor can manage to do a bit of everything to put her team in reach of victories. She previously played at Powdersville before wearing the orange and blue of the 3A Trojans. She will run point and maintain a confidence in an ability to make 3-pointers. Taylor has a knack for weaving her way through a sea of opposing defenders and moves the ball well within the flow of an offense. She also has no issues absorbing contact that can put her at the free throw line. Finding open teammates to throw defenders off balance is another thing Taylor excels at as a player.
