Ava has the potential to be a very impactful post player at the high school level, and she had a solid day for Team 5 at the Freshman Showcase. Ava secured defensive rebounds with intensity and presented teammates with an open target to feed her the rock around the basket. Ava outworked a defender for an offensive rebound and earned a trip to the free throw line, knocking down her shot from the charity stripe. Ava caught a high pass, took one dribble middle, and converted a tough floater over her defender. She’s going to be a valuable addition to Harper Woods this winter.
