The Georgia College-commit posted 10 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals and 2 blocks in a three-point loss to Paulding County. Ava scored on a putback and had a nice drop step post hook for her final hoop of the day. Ava always plays with a mean streak, a vocal presence on the floor who looks to physically impose her will inside.

Posting her strongest performance of the season with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 2 steals, Ava picked up a Georgia College offer after the Bobcats came to watch on Saturday. Roberson was her naturally physical self, punishing defenders with her frame as she cleared out space upon snagging rebounds. Ava finished well with her left hand, scoring two buckets and stepped outside to net a three. She went 6-10 from the foul line in a three-point loss to Lanier.

Up from 103: Had some big games her junior season. Has a nice touch in the paint and can stretch out to hit the 15-footer. Deceptively quick foot work upon her first touch. Experienced scoring out of the pick-and-roll.

Before fouling out at the 2:14 mark down 50-49, Ava did some good things inside. She compiled 10 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block. Roberson was effective on the offensive glass and was able to score on high-low feeds. Her mobility and ability to catch and finish on the move was on display as she ran the open floor for hoops and scored out of pick-and-rolls. When Ava is productive in the paint, it brings Dawson County’s ceiling to another level.
