About Ava

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I love to push the ball in transition after getting the rebound. I also run the floor very well. I love to hustle after the ball for the rebound or even if it’s on the ground.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a leader with high energy and love to lift the team. I am very bubbly and love being around my teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in Nation Honors society. I also won the soaring eagle award at my school for being a well rounded good student, leader, player, and friend.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am captain of my team and love to lead on the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I struggled with confidence but thank you to my coach have gotten better with that.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a good educational college and also one with a strong basketball team and program.

Despite that rise, she still stands as one of the top available recruits, making her a valuable target for programs looking to add impact talent.

Her length and fearlessness set her apart, as she consistently competes against bigger, more physical players without hesitation. Add in her ability to produce double-doubles, and she brings a level of consistency and versatility that makes her an appealing pickup at the next level.

As the driving force behind LCA’s state championship run, Ava earned MVP honors for the 3A tournament, and rightfully so. She impacted the game on both ends, delivering in key moments and elevating her play when the stakes were highest.

With her length and versatility, she projects as a strong wing at the next level. At a smaller program, her size becomes a clear advantage, especially defensively, where she can contest perimeter shooters, disrupt passing lanes, and guard multiple positions. At a larger program she may not hold a height edge, but her ability to use her length, timing, and physicality to separate herself will be what defines her role. Her championship experience and two-way presence make her a valuable prospect in any system.
