Averi was selected for the Third Team at The Michigan PGH Expo. As a point guard, she excels under pressure with strong ball-handling skills and the ability to push the pace while maintaining control. I’m expecting her to have a big senior season at Churchill this winter.

Averi, a guard for Team 9 at The Expo, has exceptional ball control, handling the ball like it’s on a string while pushing the pace effectively. She excels as a passer, particularly in transition, where she creates easy opportunities for her teammates. Averi knocked down multiple three-pointers throughout the day, showing her shooting range. She also fearlessly attacked the lane, absorbing contact without hesitation to finish strong.

I liked the way that Collins handled the ball. She had a nice combination of power and flare. Collins was able to put defenders on her hip and attack.

Averi was a top performer at this event last year and she has quickness that makes her a threat to cause turnovers on defense and score downhill off the dribble. Averi has a smooth step-back jumper and she will be a point guard I expect to impress at The Expo again on Saturday.

Averi led the charge for Always 100 Michigan Anarchy 2025 at R4TR, creating offense with her defensive pressure, scoring at the rim, and hitting shots outside. Averi pressured opposing ball handlers and swiped the ball away multiple times. She used a double crossover move to beat her defender to the rim for a layup and scored another contested finish off the dribble. Averi showed her shooting range by knocking down a wing 3 and is a lead guard who has proven why she has received offers to play at the next level.

Collins will be playing with the Always 100 Michigan Anarchy 2025 team. If a coach is looking for a high energy downhill lead guard, this is a great place to start. Collins is at her best when she attacks the rim and makes plays off the bounce. She has the ability to play the game at a fast pace.
