Ayat had a nice frame and, while she may be a little undersized at the post, the way she uses her body to finish through contact and the strength she displayed help make up for the few inches she gives up. She was one of the better finishers around the basket throughout the day, showing the ability to use her strength and positioning to score inside. As she continues to develop her perimeter game, her post skills should become even more valuable. Expanding her ability to play away from the basket will allow her to take advantage of players her size by using the interior skills she has already developed.

Chaudhry used her size and ability to get up the floor to become a scoring option in transition, showing a good finish inside. She got ahead of the defense and put herself in position to score. She also showed her competitive nature after briefly sitting out with a calf issue before returning to the floor ready to compete.

One of the event’s most polished post players, Chaudry displayed a strong offensive foundation around the basket. Her post game featured traditional footwork, strength, fundamentals, and impressive technique.

Additionally, Chaudry blended traditional footwork with modern post moves, giving her versatility around the paint. That foundation provides plenty of room for her game to continue expanding.

Over the next three years, Chaudry has the tools to develop beyond the post. With continued development, her skill set could eventually translate into that of a complete wing.

Defensively, Chaudry made her presence felt as a shot blocker around the basket. However, she relied on more than length and physicality to protect the rim.
