Expert Analysis
Brandyn Newbins | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Aynya is a tough on-ball defender who creates problems in the backcourt. She turns defense into offense by forcing turnovers and getting downhill to finish through contact. She can also step out and knock down the three making her effective in pick-and-roll situations.

Hardy is a sure-fire elite power 4 guard prospect. A complete player who impacts the game on both ends of the floor. I was very impressed with her decision-making, basketball IQ, and three-level scoring ability. The icing on the cake was her ability to defend all 94 feet. I won’t be surprised to see Power 4 schools recruiting her hard early. My advice to college coaches is to build a relationship early, as her stock is going to fly through the roof!

Athletic wing that came out looking to attack immediately. Quick first step, great handle + drives with vision. Went baseline and created open looks multiple times with ease. Rebounds on both ends; high effort player on the O glass. Dangerous in open space, covers ground with a great euro step. In a great position to learn, develop and contribute at St. Mary’s this year as a freshman.
