At OU team camp Guthery looked even more recovered from her knee injury and she was a two-way problem. An aggressive and quick on the ball defender, she’ll make opposing guards work hard to bring the ball up the court. And if the opposition is sloppy, she’ll take their cookies and go score an easy layup. She’s similarly quick and tough to cover off the bounce in the halfcourt. A healthy Guthery gives the Lady Bombers one of the most talented backcourts in Oklahoma.

Elite level spin move. Gets downhill. Great in the open court. Hit a big 3 to start the second half in this one, before the Legynds started their run. Has a knack for coming up with every 50/50 ball. Her decision making was really good in every game I saw this weekend. With her level of quickness, if her jump shot stays consistent I think she’s a big time prospect.

A guard who may have flown under the radar after missing last season due to injury, but any concerns about her quickness where put to rest this weekend. She showed she hasn’t lost a step, playing with lightning-quick speed on both ends of the floor.

Offensively, she uses a nice hesitation dribble to create separation and attack the rim. Displays strong footwork on drives, finishing with a smooth sidestep to avoid charges or shot blockers. Makes solid reads when defenses collapse, finding backside options and delivering timely passes.

Defensively, she’s a lockdown presence. Created turnovers in multiple ways, stripping ball handlers and forcing bad passes with her pressure. Her quickness and instincts allow her to consistently disrupt opposing offenses.

A 2028 PG/SG player to keep an eye on this summer.

Caught a half of action from Guthery and the Swarm to close out Saturday. She plays with an outstanding activity level, pushing the tempo and earning paint touches on drives. Had a couple solid passes on those drives and scored in transition. She suffered a major knee injury that only saw her return a few months ago. While it wasn’t the most efficient performance, the energy and returning athleticism make her a 2028 to keep close tabs on this spring and summer.
