Timmons
LA
is the definition of a winner, leader, and do-it-all guard—the engine behind one of Louisiana’s most dominant programs. She doesn’t just play the game… she impacts everything on the floor.
Coming off a state championship season, Timmons played a major role in leading John Curtis to a 25-1 record, continuing one of the most dominant runs in Louisiana girls basketball.
Her numbers tell the story—but her impact goes even deeper:
💥 14 PPG, 8 RPG, 3 SPG
💥 All-Metro Player of the Year
💥 1,000+ career points scorer
She’s a true all-around guard—can score when needed, crash the boards like a forward, and lock in defensively. Whether it’s a big game or a tight moment, she consistently finds a way to make winning plays.
Timmons also brings elite versatility. She’s been tasked with guarding multiple positions, including bigger players, while still producing offensively—showing her toughness and defensive ability.
And when the lights are brightest? She shows up.
🏆 15 points in a state championship win
🏆 Consistent production in big-time games

Bailey played with the kind of edge that changes the tone of a game. Every loose ball, every pass in the air, every one-on-one matchup—Bailey wanted it all. Her defensive effort wasn’t just about steals; it was about pride. She hounded ball handlers, jumped passing lanes, and turned effort plays into momentum-shifting moments. What stood out most was how quickly she turned defense into offense; finishing plays she created herself. Bailey’s 13 points, 8 steals, and 5 rebounds reflect her impact, but her hustle and intensity were felt on every possession and lifted the energy of the entire team.

Bailey brought nonstop energy and effort, especially on the glass, where she seemed to be everywhere at once. She hustled for every rebound and wasn’t afraid to go up strong, often grabbing boards over taller or more physical players. What really separated Bailey was her motor — she played with an edge and intensity that never wavered. Offensively, she did a great job attacking defenders off the dribble, getting downhill, and finishing plays with confidence. Her aggression kept the defense on its heels and opened up opportunities for others. Bailey ended the night with 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals, a reflection of how hard she worked on both ends of the floor.

A high-level athlete with explosive scoring ability and elite transition finishing. Her defensive versatility allows her to guard multiple positions and influence every possession. As a Louisiana–Lafayette signee with a college-ready game, Timmons is a major difference-maker and a key reason John Curtis enters the season as a strong state title contender.

Bailey is a crafty offensive powerhouse who can score at will. Her offensive arsenal is too deep for defenders to handle, and she’s unpredictable with her moves. She’s dangerous at all three levels of the court. She can shoot off the catch, shoot off the dribble, and take defenders to the basket to finish. Bailey is one of the most offensively gifted players in Louisiana’s 2026 class.

Smooth and skilled. Timmons gets downhill, scores in rhythm, and makes teammates better as a creator. She’s disruptive on defense with quick hands and IQ to force turnovers. Strong enough to post smaller guards. Fresh off summer offers from Southern Miss and Texas State.

Bailey is a steal machine in zone sets. The way she’s able to rotate and anticipate the next pass is next level. She has the rare ability to read offenses and knows what they’re about to do before they do it.

Bailey did not shy away from big-time competition on Sunday. Her motor caught the eye of some college coaches I was talking to, and she was proving why she belongs in those conversations. She made some really nice passes to her teammates in half-court situations and even posted up a smaller guard and went to work inside. Big game for Timmons with a baseline full of coaches.

What makes Bailey such a formidable defender is her IQ and her ability to read offenses. She’s able to pick up on opposing team’s tendencies and exploit them, she’s also a very physical defender. Her physicality makes ball-handlers uncomfortable and forces them to turn the ball over and make bad decisions with the ball. Bailey is not just a defender you’re going to blow by easily and she’s going to make her presence felt.
