Bella came up huge for Franklin County late in the game versus a young, but tough Dawson County team. Ultimately her and her team ran out of time, but the finish was fast and furious with Rosene showing some of the skills in her offensive arsenal. She hit two big threes, one from the wing and the other from corner, to help cut the Dawson County lead. On another play she backed her defender down and hit a tough turnaround jumper off the glass a few feet out from the block. She handled the ball with poise and patience throughout the game against a quick Dawson 2-2-1 press. She is coming off a very solid junior season here I saw her once against Habersham and came away very impressed. I look forward to seeing her and her young, talented teammates again.

Rosene made plays all over the court for Franklin County. She handled the ball for the majority of the game and distributed the ball well to her teammates on the break and in the half court. Rosene showed good patience and good decision making with the ball in her hands. She helped open the defense up herself knocking down a couple threes, with one coming down the stretch in a close game that she made from three feet behind the line. Roses rebounds the ball very well for a guard.

Will get plenty of opportunities to carve out a niche as a three-point specialist after transferring from Athens Christian. Rosene has good strength and has room to grow as a slasher.

Bella didn’t get to play much at Athens Christian but she’s a very good shooter that will quickly elevate the Franklin County backcourt. I wouldn’t be surprised if Rosene became one of the best shooters in the region and made a name for herself with her perimeter scoring.
