A Co-Defensive MVP and First Team All-League selection, Stanford was the heartbeat of River Ridge’s success. A shifty, athletic guard with elite quickness, she was a nightmare for opponents on both ends. Offensively, Stanford could score at will, attacking the rim or creating space for her jumper, all while making smart, unselfish decisions as a passer. Defensively, she locked down opposing guards with relentless effort, quick feet, and anticipation. Her motor never stopped, and her energy lifted the entire team. Stanford set the tone as one of the fiercest competitors in the conference.

Very smooth scorer/facilitator who has good speed with the ball, can get to the rim, and turns up the heat defensively. A guard who will rack up steals with her aggression and quick reactions, and offensively is a creative playmaker.

Brandi has done tremendous things for River Ridge this season. Her game has evolved into a complete well rounded scoring guard who can defend at a high level. She brings the energy to both sides of the court and is 100% a team player on the court. Stanford should start to gather Division 1 looks and is poised for a big AAU season. I think she will surprise people and possibly make a deep run during the tournament.
