Expert Analysis
Danyle Bowers | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Brea, a guard for Goonies, had a strong showing Saturday at the MI College Tour Northwood, bringing a high-motor approach and making her presence felt with her effort and toughness on the defensive end. She’s a relentless defender who applies constant pressure, using active hands to disrupt ball handlers and force turnovers. Her energy and hustle consistently stood out, as she competed on every possession and made plays that don’t always show up in the box score but have a big impact on her team. Brea’s defensive intensity and willingness to do the dirty work make her a valuable piece on the floor.

Brea was a sparkplug for Team 5 at the Freshman Showcase. She snagged a defensive rebound and pushed the ball with pace the other way using both hands. Brea sprinted inside to secure multiple offensive rebounds and scored a put-back off two feet. She hustled to save a loose ball going out of bounds and added another layup off two feet. Brea tied up the ball on defense and is going to be a guard to watch for St. Clair over the next four years.
