Bauer, being from the western part of the state, was a player that I was unfamiliar with before Sunday but not anymore! One of the more skilled players, I was impressed by her overall feel for the game and how smooth and easy everything looks to her. Clearly a “gym rat” Bauer plays with high energy and is the type of player that makes her teammates better. One of the more explosive players, with the ball Bauer had no problem getting to the hoop, at will, and finishing comfortably with either hand. Not the tallest player on the court, Bauer was one of the stronger rebounders due to her strength and quickness betting her opponents to the ball.
