About Bridget

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m aggressive driving to the lane and will kick it out if the help comes to me and leaves my teammate open. I’m a willing shorter and will shoot when I’m open and create for myself off the dribble. I move my feet fast on defense and I’m an aggressive on ball defender. I’d say I’m an unselfish teammate, as in I’ll pass the ball to my open teammates and take my own shot when needed.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Whenever I’m frustrated in my self or make a mistake I focus to get the ball back the very next possession. I always strive to become better as I know there’s always areas I can grow in. I’d say I joke around a lot and I easily get along with most people. But when I’m at practice or games I take it very seriously and focus solely on the game. I’m overall confident in my abilities.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I used to do track, but not anymore. I have received student of the month and a student recognition award for my grades and work ethic in school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I believe I’ve developed leadership, communication, & compassion. I also believe I’m honest, hard working, willing to take feedback and work on my flaws, and confident.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I struggled getting playing time on varsity my first two years in high school but I was the sixth man my sophomore year but it got taken away since my parents are divorced and I had to leave for a week, after that my coach simply gave up on me. But next year I became a starter and proved myself and didn’t allow challenges to hold me back.

What type of college are you looking for?

Any level, focused on having a system, not straight transition, focuses on all parts of the game, and will give me confidence!
