The first guard I noticed this weekend, she is a tough, savvy defender with exceptional anticipation and strong hands. She uses her knowledge of the game over raw athleticism to create steals and make winning plays. Still one of the best defensive performances I saw, she pressures the point of attack, reads the offense, and consistently makes high-impact plays without needing to rely solely on speed or explosiveness.
