Binkley is what we like to call sneaky good. Nothing about the 5’7 guard from Northome-Kelliher screams for attention, but keep watching and the winning plays begin to accumulate one after another. Bristol competes, hustles and processes the game extremely well. She sees the floor in transition, anticipates where teammates will be and consistently delivers smart passes. Her varsity experience is evident in the way she understands spacing and operates within a team structure. Binkley also owns a smooth, confident perimeter stroke with legitimate range. The younger sister of former Northome-Kelliher standout Kylee Binkley, Bristol offered glimpses Sunday of just how good she can be in her own right.

Driving over 200 miles south to get to the Freshman Showcase, Binkley came all the way from Kelliher to join in on Sunday’s action. Though generally pretty quiet on the court, the 5’7 guard had flashes of greatness all throughout the day. We loved Bristol’s ability to see the floor in transition, anticipating where to put the ball with great accuracy. In loose ball situations she had no hesitation in getting down on the ground to fight for each possession. Already a mainstay in the Northome/Kelliher rotation, Bristol will continue to be a key piece for the Mustangs this winter.
