Brookelynn created quite the “buzz” during the last Spring as she moved over from Manchester High School to county rival Wabash. She is a long, fluidly athletic guard who can do a bit of everything. She has the ball skill and athleticism to act as a scoring point guard, but she can also play off the ball and bury shots from the perimeter as a ‘2’. She utilizes a nice, competitive motor, and she will rebound and defend as well. what’s important for the Apaches now is, she will be able to play with poise and patience against pressure, and she should put them in a better position to compete for the Three Rivers Conference title.

There are prospects you see when they are young, and they make you feel old when they are close to graduation. Brookelynn is one of those, and I can remember when she was just a little baller between 7th & 8th grade. She has always been a very competitive kid who loves to be in the gym. She is long, wiry-strong, and a nice, versatile athlete. She can play on the ball and run offense, but she is also a nice multilevel scorer who can make shots when in rhythm. Her urgency defensively has probably improved the most over the years.

Prep Girls Hoops Lead Scout

Brookelynn is always fun to watch. She has nice length, a wiry-strong frame, but it’s the fact that she always plays hard and competes that stands out. She can handle it and initiate/run the offense, but she’s also a capable scorer who can make shots outside or attack the basket. Defensively, she does a nice job of using her length to bother passing lanes and get her hands on passes. As she continues getting stronger, look for her game to be more and more consistent.
