Brooklyn was very steady for Deer Park all season long. She does the little things well as she communicates on defense, boxes out, fills lanes correctly, makes the extra pass, and really provides a solid presence for the team. She can shoot the ball from deep at an elite level, being able to get her shot off quickly due to her fast release. She finishes around the rim smoothly too, being able to play through contact.

Despite Deer Park moving up a classification and adding some elite players, Coe still carves out a big role for the team and is one of the most important players for the team. Brooklyn is headed to Deer Park, who is also moving up a class to 2A. Coe will pair very nicely with the Bryant sisters as she can fill whatever role is needed by the team. She has a great shot from deep, having a quick release and being able to score from all 3 levels.

Had a good looking stroke from deep but also made some nice plays in the paint with pump fakes and step thru’s to get by overly aggressive defenders. Had multiple plays inside that led to nice left-handed finishes and also executed some good passes in transition to get the ball up.

A knock down shooter with great mechanics, she doesn’t leave much room for error. She is money if she gets a clean look. She also is great at shot fakes and getting to the basket on the drive. She is quick to the hoop and loves to go left. She is skilled at making shots around the basket that are tough for players her size. She is a scorer and a lethal one from long distance.

Coe is a 3-point threat who has a lightning-quick pull. If she has a glimmer of space out there she’s pulling, and she shoots at a high rate with or without defenders closing out. She’s a big factor for a Deer Park team who were runners-up last season in the 1A and should be among the favorites to make it back this coming winter.

#42 – Brooklyn was a big part of the Deer Park state tournament run last season. She played mostly the two-guard and provided a nice secondary scoring option with Darian Herring being the first option. Herring graduated, so Coe will have a bigger role in the offense next season. She is a shooter with a quick trigger. She picks her spots and attacks the defense with short bursts to the basket and also possesses good enough handles to create off the dribble.
