Schaefer is everything that you look for in a PG/SG. She has excellent handles and can take care of the ball for her team in press situations and find her teammates in the open court. Scoring is not a problem for Brooklyn, she can get points at all three levels. She is tough and can get all the way to the basket for buckets, plus her jumper is efficeint from mid-range and from behind the arch. Defensively, Shaefer brings the energy. She uses her quickness to get her hands on dribbles and in the passing lanes. Brooklyn isn’t afraid to get in the paint and battle with bigger post players for sneaky steals and rebounds. Keep an eye on Schaefer this grassroots summer.
