This McDonald’s All-American was a force in the paint, making it difficult for any Wildcats scorer to find success inside. McGaughy controlled the boards, swatted away shots, and displayed her finesse in transition. Versatile and dominant, she proved why she is one of the top players in the country, finishing with 13 points while playing only about three quarters.

Despite being a smaller school prospect, she was a big time recruit when finding her right home beyond high school. Washington is that place that she felt most home, adding to the Huskies young core. She can score inside and out, having elite footwork and a variety of ways to score the ball. Her footwork is outstanding and she knows the game extremely well. Offensively she is a 3 level scorer and knows how to attack defense weaknesses and defensively she is a menace who guards multiple positions on the court.

No brainer here as the recent UW signee may be the best prospect in the state of WA. 6’2 at Ieast and she plays all over the floor as an elite all levels scorer. Some of the best rebounding instincts I have seen in a while, she will dominate the 2B level next year once again. Being fully healthy, she can do it all.

#1 – In my mind, there’s no doubt that Brynn should be at the top spot. She is a 6’2 bundle of versatility and skill. First of all, she is one of the better rebounders I have seen, with great timing and jumping ability. Secondly, she has the skills to play on the perimeter, and she does it well. She can take what the defense gives her or put it on the floor and get to the rim with the skills of a slashing guard but in less steps. She obviously has the size to score on the low block, and she does that a high level, with great footwork and a variety of flashy moves in the post. She can do it all, and has colleges attention. Michigan, Stanford, Texas A&M have all come calling. This is a player who has played only two high school seasons. She led her Colfax team to a state 2B title this season and all signs point toward Colfax being the favorite once again next year.
