Rogers is showing she’s ready to close out her high school career with a bang, and watching her tireless work ethic from early morning skill training, to after practice shooting or even scoring touchdowns in flag football, being a “long and athletic” guard gives her options. She scored off the dribble, dropped the midrange consistently, and her court vision as well as decision making was solid, so was her defense

Rogers has accepted the challenge, and with more responsibility on her team, she is handling the pressure well because there is none. She has always been ready for this, I knew that after watching her football videos, so seeing her curl of picks or create her shot and drop jumpers was nice, so was her attacking to score or dish

Rogers is always in the gym working on her game, and I’ve always enjoyed seeing her understand how to get hers in the flow, as well as her good shot selection and not forcing anything, but here’s what I got back
FEEDBACK “She does a good job getting to her spot and dropping the jumper.” “loved how alert she was on defense,” “she saw the floor and was vocal on the court,” all are things I’ve been saying since day 1, yet her finishing strongly after contact in the game I caught was also nice

Rogers is closing the event out for me and rightfully so because not only do I just take mental notes, but I know she just finds ways to be relevant, aka THE GLUE. Her mid to long-range was clicking and she was one of the Top 10 in attendance yet nothing she did surprised me after watching her football videos which ties in to her mental toughness and outrebounding taller players. Her strong finishes after contact, sometimes off balance were nice. She also saw the floor off the dribble, in the set as well as in transition yet her defense needs to be mentioned because it helped create turnovers

Rogers is a tough defender who also outrebounds taller opponents, some of that is because of her understanding positioning, much of that is because of her desire and “you won’t outwork me” mindset which trickles over to her diving for loose balls as well as playing the passing lane but here is what grabbed me, her midrange was smoking and she set the defender up very well to get to her spot
