Skill Set:
Elite first step and handle allow her to beat defenders off the dribble consistently. She finishes well around the rim and plays through contact, showing strength and control in traffic. A high-motor guard, Diamond is at her best attacking gaps, creating opportunities, and forcing defensive breakdowns. Her outside shot is still developing but shows flashes.

What Stood Out:
Very few players at the combine could stay in front of her. Once she turned the corner, it was over. Her ability to collapse a defense and create advantages stood out possession after possession.

She has really come on hard this season for Skyline. Led her team in also every offensive statical category including scoring! Camille has great size and flashes elite athletic ability in the open floor. She also has consistently put up big numbers all year while being the focal point of opposing teams. These big numbers include 19 points, 10 rebounds and 7 steals in a losing effort in the state final game!

Diamond’s all-around impact was evident throughout Skyline’s run, even in moments where her scoring efficiency dipped. A high-level athlete, she consistently created offense when Skyline needed it most, showing the ability to generate her own shot and knock down perimeter looks, including key back-to-back threes in the state final. She thrives in transition, using her speed and instincts to turn defensive plays into scoring opportunities, while also making plays as a passer in half-court sets. Defensively, her activity stands out, as she disrupts passing lanes and rebounds at a high level for her position. Diamond’s versatility and ability to affect the game across multiple categories make her one of the most impactful two-way players in Class 3.

Camilla Diamond did not have an efficient game and struggled in the first half, especially. With that being said, it felt like she was the only Skyline player who could create shots. She hit threes on back-to-back plays in the 3rd quarter, and she flashed her all-around game. Her athleticism was on display both on defense and on the glass. She finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds.

Diamond has been a catalyst for Skyline all season with her all-around production. The Region 3B Player of the Year averages 13.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 5.0 steals per game. Diamond delivered a game-high 19 points in Skyline’s 59-54 semifinal win over Spotswood, scoring key baskets late to seal the victory. She also recorded a triple-double in the Region 3B championship with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 steals. Diamond’s ability to score, create for teammates, and disrupt opponents defensively makes her one of the most impactful players in the Class 3 final.
