How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a high-motor, physical forward who brings energy, defense, and rebounding to the game. At 6’1”, I use my size and strength to defend multiple positions, compete on the boards, and make effort plays that help my team win. I take pride in doing the little things — playing tough defense, running the floor, and staying active every possession. I play with a team-first mindset, embrace physicality,

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I approach the game with a competitive, disciplined, and team-first mindset. I value hard work, consistency, and being coachable. I’m the type of player who stays engaged, accepts feedback, and focuses on improving every day. I take pride in bringing positive energy, resilience, and accountability, and I always try to contribute to the team in whatever way helps us compete and win.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes. I am an invited member of the Beta Club at Grayson High School, which recognizes students for academic excellence, leadership, and character. I currently maintain a 3.86 GPA while balancing a demanding schedule of school, basketball, and training. Being part of Beta Club reflects my commitment to discipline, responsibility, and maintaining strong academic standards alongside athletics.

Through basketball and academics, I have developed strong teamwork, discipline, and accountability. There wasn’t a ton of playing time to be had for Benquet against Loganville in a 55-37 win, but she still flashed intrigue. Candela has a strong, sturdy frame. She was vocal on defense when on the floor. She stepped outside to hit a mid-range jumper. I think she could be a difference maker in due time as she gets older and more experience with increased reps.
