Carley McKlemurry is a great guard defender.

McKlemurry finds a way to both be under control and aggressive when she plays defense. She has good defensive slides but is aggressive when she sees an opponent have a loose dribble or if they just leave room for a potential steal. There, Mcklemurry plays up on her assignment, times up their dribble, and creates a turnover. She did this time and time again last season, including in a game against Milan High School last season where she had eight steals.

On offense Mcklemurry is a good post-entry passer as well as a streaky perimeter shooter. In a game last season against East Hickman County, she had six made 3-pointers.
