The Monroe post and Seattle Pacific commit is a strong player who excels at pinning her defender low and taking advantage of ill-advised fronts to seal her defender for passes over the top. She has a good feel for space right off the catch and is tough to move once she’s established. Yates also has a smooth jumper and shows great feet to get set quickly off the catch or picking up off the bounce to drain shots away from the basket.

Cascadia has great size, standing at 6’0″/1″. She knows how to dominate the paint, protecting the basket down low at a high level. She sets fantastic screens and rolls hard down the paint to get easy buckets above defenders. She is a top rebounder in the entire state and could pull down more than 10 per game.

With great size, Cascadia is a great center for both EBC Elite and Monroe. Not only is she aggressive in the post and always looking to score, she has great footwork and understands positioning, getting the ball in the spots she wants. She also works hard on the glass, aggressively pulling in rebounds. Cascadia has a good chance at jumping up many spots on the rankings next season.

She understands position on the block and gets buckets deep in the paint because of that. She is aggressive and gets after it on the glass. She has good footwork on the block as well.
