Celine had a great season this year, slowly showing growth in all aspects of her game. She seals well down-low and sets solid screens for her talented guards who are able to get her the ball. She finishes with a soft touch around the rim and rebounds the ball very, very well. She can step out to the mid-range as well and knock down shots for her team.

Wright’s a post who has some good ball skills, she can make some key passes, has good touch in the midrange, and shows strong hands to catch entries and bring down rebounds. She also shows how she can play an impactful role on the offensive end without having plays ran for her. She plays with some talented scoring guards who can rain in threes and create off the bounce too, and she does well to move down low without the ball and get herself into spots to make plays off of penetration. And when they do call her number, she is a strong player who has some tricks to get deep position and can push defenders around inside.

Wright’s a girl who has the physicality to bang inside, finish at the cup, and contribute on the glass, but she’s also a pretty impressive playmaker, especially from the high post. She sees well over the top of the defense, is quick to face up and assess the floor, and knows what to anticipate before she catches the ball so she can act quickly. She’s also shown she can hit those midrange shots, making her a threat to stretch the defense a little, pop out and hit jumpers off of paint touches, and play in the pick-and-pop.
