About Chanice

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My play style is defensively centered and playing fast in transition.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would say that my personality is task driven and easy going.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Not currently outside of basketball.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve had the opportunity to grow as a leader on my current high school and club basketball teams. This has allowed me to work with and help develop many of my teammates different skill sets. As well as my own.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a school that will allow me to excel academically and allow me to continue playing the sport I love. A college that provides the resources to help shape my career in finance and leadership.

Jones showed me plenty of athleticism when I caught her with her school team at the TABC Showcase last season see evaluation here so I already knew about her applying heat on the defensive end. Her finishing strongly after contact at this season’s Peggy Whitley Classic was also impressive see evaluation here

Jones was another athletic guard who showed she could make things happen on both ends of the court. Not only did I like her attacking the basket and finishing after contact, I loved that she did it with either hand. Her body control is nice and she did a good job applying heat defensively both in the set as well as baseline to baseline
