Chaniya has a useful blend of footwork, perimeter shooting, and dribble penetration off the bounce. The three ball gives defenders a reason to come out, and her willingness to attack of the bounce gives her a way to challenge the attention given her. For a small guard, having both options matters. She can make a defender account for the shot while remaining ready to put the rock on the floor. Her footwork is an important part of her offensive package once she gets into the heart of the defense, as she creates space for her shot or the pass. The next step is connecting her feet, handle, and decisions so she can take advantage of an opening before it closes. Chaniya can get more from her tools by being decisive: take the available shot, attack the space, or keep the possession moving.
