A multi-sport athlete, Casey is a kid who I’m curious whether she’ll play basketball, volleyball, or both at the next level. On the basketball court, the 6’0 wing/forward does a little of everything other than shooting from the perimeter. I’ve seen Casey create as a lead guard over the summer, and with her size and athleticism, she’s a versatile piece to put in any lineup. Schools may be hesitant about her possibly taking the volleyball route, but few kids have the physical toolset Casey boasts. I believe she can contribute at the scholarship level somewhere if she wants to play basketball.

I’ve known that Casey was an athletic multi-sport kid for a while, but once I saw her in person, it was clear that she was better than I first thought. The 6’0 wing can play anywhere on the floor, and coaches will be comfortable putting her in any role. Casey can dribble, pass, finish around the rim, and defend multiple positions on the floor. The Holmen native should be someone who earns plenty of scholarship-level attention if she hasn’t already.

I learned about Casey recently, but there’s plenty to like about what she does. She’s an athletic physical wing who does her best work around the basket. She can finish over the top of just about anyone in the paint, and she’s powerful enough to finish through contact. There’s still plenty of room for her to grow as a player, but her size, athleticism, and power Casey plays with is an excellent foundation to build from. She’s not from a traditional power or area of the state most people are from, so she’s an under-the-radar kid.
