I haven’t seen or heard of Cheryl committing anywhere to play college hoops, but I think she is planning on playing. She is a great player! Picture a 6′ forward who can play the point guard position. She was her team’s primary ball-handler and made it difficult for opponents to press the Pirates. Her vision, height, and ball-security allowed her to get through presses with ease. She can defend and rebound with the posts and keep smaller girls in front of her. She is a true three-level scorer, effective from inside and out. Whoever gets Cheryl is going to be one happy coach!

I really like Tioga and I think they will have a great chance to make the state tournament in 2025-2026. Hayes is an exceptional talent and someone who will definitely have the opportunity to play at the next level. Coaches should be all over a player like Cheryl. She is a 6′ “forward” with guard skills. She could play 1-5 and be effective at each position. She can score at will and is a good defender.

Tioga is another school that should get more attention than it receives. It has a really good girls’ basketball program with a lot of talented players. Cheryl is an absolute stud and an under-recruited athlete. She would fit in at all of North Dakota’s JUCO and NAIA schools. She would also be a great fit in the D3 MIAC conference.

Cheryl is an absolute stud for Tioga. I can’t say enough good things about her game. She has great size at 6′. She runs the floor well and has incredible vision in transition, passing the ball on a dime to running teammates. She defends ball-screens exceptionally well. She keeps the ball high above her head on finishes near the rim and seals up the lane well. She can truly play inside and out.

Cheryl is another tall, impressive point guard. She has the Tioga Pirates playing great and in the top ten in Class B. She is a really good passer in both the half-court and in transition. She does a good job of knowing when to take it to the hole herself as well. Her size and skill make Cheryl another player local schools should be looking at this season and this coming summer.
