The reclassification of Lower Richland to 4A certainly made its field even more competitive than what it already was. Isaac – a preseason SCBCA Elite Girls selection – has been a key reason why the Diamond Hornets have began the 2024-25 season unblemished. That unblemished mark continued with a 65-54 win over 5A Spring Valley. Isaac led all scorers with 19 points. If she has an opportunity to connect from 3-point range, she will take – and likely make – said attempt. Isaac’s veteran instincts also come into play when attacking the rim – as does her speed. The steals she collects – and she can collect a few – will translate into her offensive production.

Chi’Nya Isaac is an amazing athlete who is also very skilled on the basketball court. She can burst to the rim with a quick first step or step outside and drain the three for Team Curry . Isaac is a physical guard who is not afraid of contact on offense or defense. Additionally, Issac has unbelievable court vision. She can draw multiple defenders and willingly dish to her open teammates several times per game.

Isaac was able to showcase some pretty bounce passes here today to her teammates while in transition. Chi’nya finished at the rim on a few occasions today with both hands. She clearly wants the ball in her hands down the stretch in games.
Issac finished with 20 points while knocking down a few three-pointers in a loss to Westwood HS. Chi’nya logs a lot of minutes for the Diamond Hornets and never left the floor today.
