There aren’t too many prospects throughout Iowa that averaged a double-double last season at the Varsity level under the bucket but Chloe Alesch for MMCRU was one of those players with 12.7 PPG (47%) and 9.8 RPG while leading her team to an overall 13-10. Alesch was their source near the lane on both sides of the ball. She controlled everything happening between the blocks on both offense and defense, always being a focal point to their system and what they were trying to accomplish. I’m sure for her Senior season we are going to see much of the same. Their leading Guard from a year ago was also a Junior so as long as they return with the right goals in mind as a team, they should produce at high rates all Winter long.
