There is a stat out there that is underrated when it comes to younger prospects at the Varsity level. That stat is FTA and FTM. If you are a Freshman and you are Top 3 within your Conference in FTPG – it matters. It means you are willing to attack the defense physically and you’ll worry about your body after the fact. Chloe Homan of Remsen St. Mary’s shot over 105 FT’s as a Freshman for the group – showing her worth to everyone really early on within her high school career. This season I would say that Remsen better play off of these type of numbers. Homan needs to catch the ball in space with room to work. If they can do that, she is going to continue to thrive on offense while helping her team out in any other ways she can in the meantime.
