Chloe Mejas is having a good final season of high school hoops.
This season, Mejias is averaging 15.1 PPG. She has a unique skillset in that she can act as a post and also a guard with her aggressive offense. This comes from her being comfortable in post-ups and in scoring opportunities in general down low. She can also create offense off the dribble with her change of pace game.
This playstyle of Mejas also plays into her being an elite rebounder. In a game against Austin-East High School, she had 20 points and 19 rebounds.

Chloe continues to help put the East TN Air (Ice) team in positions to win. She provides her team with numerous extra possessions on both ends of the court. One college coach wrote, “I love a guard that rebounds on both ends.” Look no further, because Chloe is the kid that crashes the boards, and rebounds exceptionally well. The effort that Mejias plays with never has to be questioned! Offensively, she can score the rock. This is a ’26 that is taking care of business!

Sharpshooting guard who can fill it up. She can spot up along the arc and knock it down as well as finish around the rim. She contributes not only in the scoring column but gets after it on the boards as well where she leads the team in rebounding. She is a heady ballplayer who doesn’t force the issue, plays with poise, and has a knack for being in the right spot at the right time.

Solid as a rock. Her game has grown over the years as she is the ultimate teammate. Whatever role is asked of her, she goes out and does her assignment well. Though her team lost in a tight battle to Northview 56-51, I just wanted to highlight her performance of putting in 22 points. Oftentimes she is overlooked, but this kid is a big time contributor in multiple aspects of the game. Keep doing what you are doing because your energy and effort will be important to this team down the stretch.

Mejias was a valuable role player her last two years at GP. She’s a smooth guard with an effective skill set. She’s always been adept at filling in off the ball, but will be asked to carry more playmaking duties. Isn’t scared to let it fly from three when teams sag too much. Has played in a a lot of big basketball games.

What a performance by Chloe! You never have to question this one’s effort. She is extremely physical and she is going after every loose ball that is in her path. She is doing all of this while still playing with a splint. Yes, she’s quite the athlete! She has a toughness inside her that can’t be taught! Chloe is great at getting downhill and attacking the rim strong. She is also good at finishing through contact! She finished through contact to win the game for her team on a beautiful drive to the rim at the buzzer in overtime! If you don’t have this one on your radar, make sure to put her down ASAP!
