One expects high-level play from those who wear the Lady Attack Elite uniform during the spring and summer months of AAU. Wolf certainly brought that and then some for Fort Mill. The Yellow Jackets may not have achieved the result it was in search of on the road at Nation Ford, but Wolf’s 19 points ensured Fort Mill had a chance to win all game long. Ten of the 19 points she scored took place in the first half of play. Wolf’s veteran instincts display themselves with her willingness to maintain activity even away from the ball and via her overall high basketball IQ. She understands when the correct occasions are to pass and when the correct occasions are to score. Her defense can leave many opposing ball-carriers turnover-prone and she is particularly dangerous from behind the 3-point line.

Colbie had a solid performance in both games. She showed why she is one of the best shooters at the showcase. Good footwork, nice form and does a good job of working to get open to get her shot off. She ran the floor well in transition on the wing and was able to make a few easy layups and an impressive move using a ball fake. Defensively she held her own and made it tough for opposing perimeter players.

Wolf is one of many in the Charlotte area that has both Carolinas covered. During the high school season, she sports the blue and gold of 5A Division 2 Fort Mill. During the spring and summer months of AAU, she switches to the purple threads of Lady Attack Elite. A veteran guard who can put points on the board from all three levels, she averaged 10.1 points per game last season to lead the Yellow Jackets in scoring. Her Lady Attack Elite 2027 team will take part in the Select 40 this weekend at Spooky Nook in Ohio and was another of the many teams that were at Roses this past weekend in Louisville.

Colbie averaged 10.1 ppg this season for the Lady Yellow Jackets (16-11). She tends to play her best basketball off the ball as a shooter. Colbie does a nice job of setting her feet and receiving the ball in the pocket.
She made the move up from #102 to #64 in this latest edition of Stock-Risers.
