Crimson had an absolute massive senior year this season. She took home first team all league honors in a very tough MCC league with some fantastic talent all the way around. Childs plays with a chip on her shoulder, being able physical guard who can get down hill and play inside the paint well. Her knowledge on the court shows when she plays through the pick and roll and when facilitating the offense. She moves off ball in order to find the open gaps in the defense and attack the weak spots. She’s an elite guard who can definitely play at a 4 year college.

Crimson is one of the highest rising players in the state regardless of class. She has stepped up huge for her team, scoring almost 15 points a night. She controls the pace of the game well, playing at her own speed and picking apart defenses well. On the defensive end, she plays with a high motor and does whatever it takes to get the ball for her team.

Childs has been one of the biggest stock risers of the new season. She’s already doubled her point total from a year ago and has bumped up her scoring average from 2.7 ppg to 15.1, good for sixth-best in the MCC. She exhibits excellent court awareness on both ends, hitting defensive rotations, getting in good position for defensive boards, and moving well without the ball on the offensive end. She has some legit toughness and strength for a guard that has led to 5.4 rpg and 2.5 spg. She’s also a player who can capitalize on her trips to the foul line, shooting an impressive 31-for-35 (88.6%) on the season.

She should be considered because she is very well rounded player, leading the MCC in steals, second in assisting, third in scoring and fourth in rebounding. She is a Hustler and a great team leader.

Crimson has showed amazing growth in her game on the court, so much so I am sure she will be ranked come the rankings update. She is a rising senior who is off to a hot start for Kamiakin. She handles the ball really well, being able to maintain her dribble in full sprint while pushing the ball down the court. She plays unselfish and bring intensity to the defensive side of the ball. She is scoring the ball well and attacking with confidence, which is leading to many. buckets for her. College coaches should take note, she is definitely a college level player.
