Conwell has been one of Butler Prep’s go-to scorers this year, and despite being just 5’4, she plays with an incredible amount of aggression. Fast, tough, and relentless, she hits angles without losing any speed. Her playstyle suggests she could be a key piece to the future of the Huskies program.

Conwell might fall into the category of players who could elevate their game at the next level. She’ll be suiting up for the Huskies next year, and guards like her are heavily utilized in the MAC. She has the speed, poise, and the ability to defend 94 feet with no loss of energy. A ton of potential.

Conwell is still overlooked, in my opinion. This kid can be a shutdown point guard on the defensive end, as well as a floor leader on the offensive side. She has solid handles and vision, and knows when and what angles to attack. I think this year at Butler, Conwell will take a huge leap in her game.

Conwell puts pressure on the defense in almost every possession. She has the speed, solid body control and the athleticism. The handles are strong ,and defensively she can cause a ton of trouble.

Moving up to 3A, Butler has an argument as one of the best teams in that class, let alone the state. Last year the team earned a spot in the 2A final four and though they didn’t take home the 1st place trophy, they return this year with every player.. plus another key addition. Conwell has everything that will push this team to the next level. Another shifty scoring guard who defends from baseline to baseline. With a ton of high level players on the roster, this team will be one to watch.

Playing with one of the top HS programs in the state, a top PG, and an emerging sophomore star will bring a ton of college eyes to Connell this season. Her defensive mindset is top tier in this class, and her ability to maneuver throughout the floor can’t be overlooked. A huge leap in the rankings is earned, and I’m looking forward to seeing her this year. Another state run could be in the future for Butler.

Conwell has a ton of athleticism and speed and she matches that with her ability to get off her own shot with her handles. Defensively she can cause havoc for any guard she’s matched up with. A strong guard who will definitely see her stock rise.
