Dallas is one of the toughest guards on the court. She’s strong, and athletically gifted. McElroy picked up numerous defensive rebounds and went coast to coast. She does a great job jumping passing lanes and forcing turnovers. Dallas knows how to take advantage of her scoring opportunities and she does a good job not forcing what isn’t there.

Super Athletic and High Energy Guard. Dallas is leading the district in assists with 4.5 per game. Dallas is very good at attacking the paint and finishing at the basket. I have never seen her get tired. She is quick and can be a nightmare defensively for a ball handler.

#19 High Energy Guard. Dallas averaged 13.7 points, 3.5 steals and 2.7 rebounds per game for Overton last season. Dallas is very good at attacking the paint and finishing at the basket. She can knock down the 3 ball also. Defensively, she is quick and can be a nightmare for a ball handler. No fast break is safe because Dallas does not quit on a play even if the play is headed to the other end. She can quickly get back and disrupt the fast break.

A quick scoring guard. Dallas was on a mission this week offensively. She was not going to be denied getting to the basket. On the flip side, she was not allowing her opponent to get by her. She is very good at staying low, putting her nose on the ball and forcing players from side to side. Very high energy. On back to back possessions, she prevented transition opportunities hustling back and slowing the plays down allowing her teammates to force turnovers.

I don’t know if I have every witnessed a high school player cup the ball the way Dallas does to protect it while driving. She is extremely talented and agile at getting to the paint to score. And I mean score. She is very, very efficient at putting the ball in the basket even with contact. A super athletic and high energy player.
