Coan is an athletic, physical player who competes with confidence. She times her jumps well and projects as a very good shot blocker and rim protector, pairing that with elite hands that generate a lot of turnovers on the defensive end. Offensively, she’s a reliable catch-and-shoot threat from the perimeter and a good rebounder who consistently finds herself in the right position.

Coan is a great passer with high basketball IQ. She has good shooting mechanics but needs to work on her guide hand on the release of her shot. Athletic and competitive, she has a great feel for the defensive paint and alters shots while closing out on shooters on the perimeter. She has a good handle and vision, setting up teammates, and can get to the basket when she needs to.
