Deziray is a relentless shot-blocker and rebounder; she finishes strong takes to the basket through contact and drops in 3-pointers. Deziray is a game-changing distributor, tying the single-game school record for assists with 10 before breaking the record against Bellevue with 11 to hold the record outright. Deziray is a prospect who I’ve enjoyed watching and is a leader who will greatly benefit whoever adds her to their ’25 recruiting class.

Deziray had a fantastic junior season for the Orioles and her complete performance on Monday guided Quincy to their first win. Dez started strong, driving hard off a high-ball screen after stunning her defender with a double-crossover, and elevated to score a contested floater in the paint off two feet. She powered through a defender to convert an and-one layup in transition and blocked several shots in the paint. Deziray poured in 15 points, leading the way with 9 in the second half. She outworked her opponents for offensive rebounds and will be an exciting prospect to watch this winter.
