It is not often that Military Magnet has forgettable days at the office, but that is a hallmark of coach Nathaniel Taylor’s team – testing its mettle against hard-to-beat assemblings from higher classifications. The Eagles may have been on the receiving end of a 73-55 decision to 4A Westside, but Watson gave a winning effort with 22 points. In addition to Watson’s efficiency as a scorer, she also displayed her fearlessness and confidence with her willingness to shoot the ball over taller defenders. Watson is also an effective rebounder, delivers accurate passes to teammates and comes through with defensive plays that can give Military Magnet additional possessions – either in transition or in the halfcourt. There were several teams on hand that we could see in Florence next month – the Eagles are one of them.

Dream is the best player in Class 1A basketball in the Palmetto State. Watson is back for the Lady Eagles to run the show once again. Dream is one of the most relentless players on the floor in the Palmetto State. She’s extremely quick with the ball in her hands and playing the game at 94 feet. She understands on how pickup steals all night long with constant ball pressure and a set of quick hands.

Dream will take a charge on command at times it seems. She certainly doesn’t mind playing tough on the floor and scraps for everything she does – HUSTLE!! Dream enters her senior season with 1,446 career points.

Watson is extremely quick end to end with the ball in her hands. Dream is a pesky defender who likes to create chaos on the defensive end of the floor. She gets a lot of her points attacking the basket and getting to the cup. Dream will manufacture points off steals and quickness to the rock for her team. She excels in the transition game.

Watson is extremely quick from end to end on the court. She really likes to create havoc with her quick hands on the defensive end of the floor. Dream excels in an up-tempo style of play and really seems to get to the rack with quite ease at times.

Watson brings for 94 feet when she’s on the floor for the Charleston Raptors Silver 17U squad.
