After a pair of seasons competing up in the 2A ranks, the latest round of reclassification will see the Bulldogs of Burke return to the 1A realm beginning in 2026-27. Legare had a 2025-26 season that saw her play in all 28 of Burke’s contests. Legare would average 7.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.3 steals on a Bulldogs team whose nucleus was comprised of sophomores. She was one of three 2028s on this past season’s very young Burke assembling. Legare’s travel career includes a stint with Lowcountry Premier. The Bulldogs finished 16-9 in its most recent season as a 1A combatant and are only graduating three seniors from its 2025-26 squad.
