Ella has always been a nice athlete, she has an athletic frame, and she runs & jumps well for her position. Throughout the weekend and into Monday, she displayed nice skill balance, as she knocked down shots from the perimeter and in the mid-post, plus she showed off an improved handle and the ability to change directions in traffic. In a class with several really nice forward prospects, she stands out because of her athleticism, and she can use that to defend multiple positions.
Ella was solid throughout the Spring, but these last two days she has looked motivated to finish her grassroots career with a bang. She has an athletic frame, length, plus she can run & jump with just about any similarly sized forward in Indiana’s 2025 class. She has always shown touch in the mid-post, plus she can attack the basket and finish athletically over/through defenders.
I first saw Ella last year and was impressed with the combination of her motor and her athleticism. She is a very active, bouncy kid, and she has a lot of length. She is always around the basketball, she is a nice pursuing rebounder, and she can score it consistently at the basket and in the mid-post. She has begun stretching her game to the perimeter and is starting to knock down the 3-pointer, plus she’s a versatile defender.
I have seen this Indiana’s Best
team a few times this Spring, but this was the first time I was able to see Ella. She is a really nice athlete, with length and a wiry-strong frame. She is always active, chasing down rebounds and defending multiple types of players. Offensively, she is also a ball of energy, always trying to make a play. She can attack the basket from as deep as the perimeter, she can knock down the occasional rhythm 3-pointer, but she is outstanding in the mid-post and hard to defend from there off the bounce. She certainly has some intriguing athletic qualities.
