Then the next couple of possessions she posted up the guard with a smooth up and under move as if she was 6’2. The signs of a high IQ player were truly on display. She moves without the ball on offense creating scoring opportunities for her team. A player on offense that can truly play 1-5. Now that 5 means you are playing with your post on the perimeter and Elia inside. A scenario like that could cause teams issues

On defense at 5’7 she could guard pretty much 1-5 on the floor. Teams thought they had the mismatch in the post but she used her legs and quickness to get around the post. Plays with grit and toughness. Ella had signs of big games this summer, so keep an eye on 2029 as I think she will be a sophomore name to know if you already don’t by end of season.
