Wortham provided the offensive spark for Stanwood. She scored 18 points while also pulling down eight rebounds and creating plays defensively. Her ability to contribute across the stat sheet allowed Stanwood to maintain control of the game. Guards who rebound and defend at that level bring a different energy in tournament play.

The League MVP, Wortham established herself as one of the most advanced scorers in the conference. A true three-level threat, she could hit from deep, pull up in the midrange, post up smaller defenders, and finish creatively around the rim. Her change-of-pace game was elite—using hesitations, jabs, and angles off the glass to score in ways few players can replicate. Wortham also brought defensive versatility, capable of guarding multiple positions and disrupting plays. Her complete game and leadership made her one of the state’s premier players.

She was one of the more impressive players right away at The Expo, standing out with a varied offensive attack and was able to pretty much get to her spots at will. Played with pace but showed patience in the halfcourt and was a beast getting downhill with countless blow-by’s. Played high level defense all day as well.

Deep ball range, she will pull it from NBA range and has great shot mechanics. She is very decisive and if the defense is too close, she can turn the corner in a hurry and gets all the way to the basket. She doesn’t go half speed, she makes her decisions and gets to the basket. She is in the mid-range club as well, showing the ability to pull up going either direction. She is a talented player and one who might be underrated. She has great instincts, good speed, lights out shooter, and a craftiness around the basket. She has the potential to have a huge season next year in my opinion as one of the best in the class of 2026.

Another Stanwood guard who plays with a high basketball IQ. I knew that she is a great shooter but she also impressed with her willingness to rebound and push the ball in the open floor. She finds open teammates and can put it on the floor and score with some nice floaters. She has the ability to play either guard spot well with her ball skills and textbook jumper.

I have been impressed with her since watching some of her post-season games last season for Stanwood. An elite shooter in the making. She has all the skills of a great point or two guard. She has game that screams breakout. She should be a huge part of the offensive production for Stanwood in 2024. She might be one of the best in the class of 2026 before it’s all said and done. She has great basketball instincts to go with the skills.

A great showing at the state tournament for Stanwood last year. She had a great season as a freshman. She is a big-time sniper with one of the best looking jumpers around. She has great basketball instincts and plays smart.
