With Wood Elite Howren 15U being one of the two 15U assemblings that finished the weekend with an unblemished 4-0 mark, it is more than deserving of having three on the All-Showcase teams. That untarnished mark was preserved on Sunday in large part by Howren who concluded her team’s contest with a tough LOB Elite 2028 team with a 16-point performance. Included in that effort were a pair of 3-pointers – two of the four triples her team made in that game. The Mount Paran Christian standout was simply making plays on both ends of the floor left and right that had opponents shaking their heads. 

At times, early morning rust can sap a player’s performance. That was not the case for this rising talent out of Mount Paran Christian. Her Wood Elite 15U Howren team picked up the 43-24 victory over Team XYZ Golden Youth Eagles Basketball Organization 15U in one of the initial contests of this year’s Peach Games and she tallied 10 points which greatly helped en route to victory. It may not be conventional to see too many who stand at 5-foot-9 with 3-point shooting capabilities, but Howren certainly has those. She also managed to make plays in transition and has no problems drawing contact to get to the free throw line. Her Mount Paran Christian team finished the 2024-25 season with a robust 26-5 record.
